Student Shadowing Opportunities

We understand the importance of gaining experience and exposure in the field of occupational therapy, which is why we offer shadowing opportunities to future and current students. Our program provides the opportunity to observe licensed occupational therapists in our outpatient rehabilitation clinic and intermittent community/in-home visits.

Our shadowing program is designed to give students an inside detailed look at the daily work of occupational therapists, including client/patient assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions. Shadowing provides a valuable learning experience that can help students gain a better understanding of the profession and make informed decisions about their career path. Our program typically involves shadowing and learning from our experienced occupational therapists for 1 to 3 days per week.

We encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity to learn from experienced occupational therapists and ask questions about the profession. We believe that shadowing is an important step in the journey towards becoming an occupational therapist, and are committed to supporting students in their pursuit of this rewarding career.
